24. What are your principal areas of interest in our City government, and what experience or special knowledge can you bring to those areas?
I previously served as an Otay Water Board member. While active I tried to engross myself in all aspects of how the water agency operates-therefore having an understanding on where rate payer money could potentially be saved. My goal is to acquire that same level of knowledge and be active in ways to save rate payer money. While I have both a strong background in energy and water my latest experience in local governance has given me a wider view on the needs of local agencies.

25. What would you hope to accomplish in the role of a Charter Review Commissioner? (250 words or less) My goal is to be an advocate for the rate payer. Looking at city government and finding areas of efficiency to lessen the financial impacts on our community. Also keeping in mind the impacts from state and federal requirements and identifying any that might have a flexibility in either time or scope.

26. You may upload a resume in addition to your application (optional).
