As Deputy Mayor of Chula Vista, You had the opportunity to resolve those Concerns. What have you done to solve those issues?
Our district deserves leadership that delivers:

Pathways to Economic Prosperity : I will champion job creation, support small businesses, and expand workforce development. Together, we can foster innovation, build career pathways, and ensure every resident has access to opportunities for success
WHIY DID YOU NOT “champion job creation, ” BEFORE
“To me is all political talk.” same play book used by your friends As Deputy Mayor of Chula Vista, You had the opportunity to resolve those Concerns. What have you done to solve those issues?
Safe and Thriving Neighborhoods : Everyone deserves to feel secure in their home and community. I will ensure our law enforcement has the resources they need to keep our neighborhoods safe while fostering partnerships that prioritize safety and trust.

Unethical Business Practices of Democrats
in Chula Vista Exposed
San Diego News Desk4 weeks ago03 mins
The recent revelation of the unethical business
practices of Democrats in Chula Vista has come to
light, and it’s not a good look for the party. And
City Councilmember Andrea Cardenas
showing that corruption is involved
with all the Council members.

The fact that Democrats in Chula Vista have been
engaging in such unethical business practices is
truly disappointing, and it raises questions about their commitment to transparency and accountability . It’s crucial that these issues are addressed and resolved promptly to restore the trust of the people of Chula Vista in their elected officials.

CAROLINA
In my opinion you had the opportunity to improve Chula Vista image and you did not.

After Andrea your friend was found GUILTY . you did react appropriately.

During Council meetings I asked you and the rest of council members to censor Andrea or to ask her to step down. You and the rest of the Council chose to ignore the major issues.

Was it because Andrea got you where you are and controlled your actions and your voting?
Why are attempting to become a supervisor?
Who is directing or Ordering or Demanding you to filled up the application? before you ask me to vote for you
Tell me why you did not react appropriately or expected as a politician representing Chula Vista
I just don’t believe that your interest is the community.

I believe that as a member of a political Cartel someone is controlling the actions, response, and most important Voting.

Who is the puppeteer?
Base on that, I do not believe that I could ever
trust YOU to be a supervisor representing me.

INVESTIGATIVE/ENTERPRISE
:POWER & GOVERNANCE
Months before she quit,
Nora Vargas quietly set up
her own consulting firm
• by Greg Moran February 12, 2025
•
• Vargas formed her consulting business five months before she announced she would quit, and while she was campaigning and fundraising for another term, the records show.
• On July 29, Vargas registered “Nora Vargas LLC” with the Secretary of State’s office. Four months later, after she had won re-election to the board, she filed more paperwork stating the purpose of the business would be “Consulting.”
• Last week Vargas filed her required final financial disclosure statement as a supervisor, covering the period from January 2024 through Jan. 6, 2025. She listed the new LLC, and checked a box indicating she had received between $1,001 and $10,000 gross income during that time.
• That would indicate Vargas was earning money through her LLC as a consultant during the time she was also the chairwoman of the board.

The documents do not say what type of consulting she was doing, or where, or who her clients were.
• Vargas did not respond to a voicemail and text message requesting an interview

Governmental audits
are essential for ensuring transparency, accountability, and responsible management of public resources. Here’s why cities undergo these audits:

Compliance with Federal Requirements: Cities receive federal grants, loans, and other assistance.

To ensure compliance with federal
regulations, they undergo audits to verify that funds are used appropriately1.

Financial Accountability: Audits assess whether cities adhere to state laws, regulations, and their own policies. They evaluate financial statements, ensuring proper accounting and controls to prevent misuse of public funds

2. Public Confidence: Audits instill confidence among citizens and stakeholders by providing unbiased assessments of resource management and effectiveness in achieving intended results
