RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION PLAN
AND COMPENSATION SCHEDULE TO REFLECT THE
ADDITION AND DELETION OF POSITION TITLES AND
AMENDING THE AUTHORIZED POSITION COUNT IN
VARIOUS CITY DEPARTMENTS
WHEREAS, in an effort to address the needs of various departments and the City's workforce, the Human Resources Department, in conjunction with the affected departments, is proposing the addition and deletion of certain classifications and positions; and
WHEREAS, a summary of new and updated classifications and the E-Step salaries are as follows:

Public Works Inspection Manager MM $5,555.16 bi-weekly
* Position titles will be eliminated 12/31/26 unless extended by additional grant funding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista, that it approves amendments to the Compensation Schedule and Classification Plan to reflect the changes described above.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista, that it approves the following changes to the Fiscal Year 202 5-26 authorized departmental position counts:
