Background
• BID established in 2009 pursuant to California
Streets & Highways Code
• Four entities proportionately paid into the BID
• Support enhanced economic development and
promotional activities
• Changes in ownership and priorities have led to
the request to dissolve the BID
Background
• July 31, 2024, letter from Sunroad Enterprises
requested that the BID be disestablished
• September 9, 2025, City Council adopted a
resolution to hold a public hearing
• No objections
Next Steps
• Approximately $169,105 in collected funds
remaining
• All funds would be proportionately refunded to
the members
