RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA APPROVING A FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (“MOU”) BETWEEN
THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA AND THE CHULA VISTA MID-
MANAGERS/PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION (“MM/PROF”),
SEIU LOCAL 221 , CLC, CTW, COVERING THE PERIOD OF
MARCH 18, 2025, TO DECEMBER 31, 2027, REGARDING
ARTICLE 2.01 WAGES
WHEREAS, on March 18, 2025 , the City Council approved a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Chula Vista and Chula Vista Mid Managers/Professional Association (“MM/PROF”), SEIU Local 221, related to wages and other terms and conditions of employment; and
WHEREAS, after meeting and conferring in good faith pursuant to the Meyers Milias - Brown Act ("MMBA"), the City and MM/PROF desire to enter into a First Amendment to the 2025-2027 MOU, relating to wages for two classifications: Senior Information Technology Support Specialist and Building Project Manager.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista, that it hereby does approve the First Amendment to the 2025-2027 Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Chula Vista and Chula Vista Mid Managers/Professional Association (MM/PROF), SEIU Local 221, CLC, CTW bargaining group in the form substantially presented and that the City Manager may make such minor modifications as may be approved or required by the City Attorney’s Office.
