RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA AMENDING THE AUTHORIZED POSITION
COUNT IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Measure A Sales Tax Fund currently funds several sworn positions throughout the Police Department to enhance public safety and operational efficiencies; and
WHEREAS, staff is recommending allocating fifteen Peace Officer positions to the Measure A Sales Tax Fund, as shown on the table below:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista, that it approves amendments to the authorized position count in the Police Department to reflect the changes described above.
