CALL TO ORDER
The Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Industry, California, was called to order by Mayor Cory C. Moss at 8:33 a.m., in the City of Industry Council Chamber, 15651 Mayor Dave Way, California and telephonically using Conference Call Number, 657-204-3264, Conference ID: 141 670 499#.

For the record, Mayor Moss announced that Council Member Ruggles arrived at 8:41 a.m.
PRESENTATIONS
Tonner Canyon Vegetation Management Update by LA County Fire Department - Samantha Conn with the LA County Fire Department presented a slideshow and presentation.

CONSENT CALENDAR
Mayor Cory C. Moss asked to pull Item Nos. 6.3 and 6.4, for a staff report.

Council Member Radecki recused himself from voting on check number 78177 for item 1 (Register of Demands) due to a potential or actual financial conflict of interest due to he is currently employed by Square Root Golf and Landscape.
6.1 CONSIDERATION OF THE REGISTER OF DEMANDS FOR MAY 12, 2022 RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the Register
Demands and authorize the appropriate City Officials to pay the bills.
6.2 CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION NO. CC 2022-17 - A RESOLUTION OF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF INDUSTRY, CALIFORNIA CONTINUING THE
AUTHORIZATION OF REMOTE TELECONFERENCE MEETINGS PURSUANT TO AB 361
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution No. CC 2022-
17, authorizing the continuance of remote teleconferencing meetings pursuant to AB CONSIDERATION OF THE PURCHASE OF 134 STREETLIGHTS FROM
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON, IN THE AMOUNT OF $100,263.60 RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the purchase of
streetlights from Southern California Edison.
City Manager, Josh Nelson provided a staff report and Dev Birla, Operations Manager at CNC Engineering, provided additional information. Both were available to answer any questions.
4 CONSIDERATION OF A LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH SAN GABRIEL
ALLEY COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS FOR ACCESS TO ASSESSOR'S PARCE NO. 8264-004-908 LOCATED AT 1123 SOUTH HATCHER AVENUE, FOR
TEMPORARY STORAGE OF E-BIKES AND RELATED EQUIPMENT
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the License Agreement.
Assistant City Manager, Bing Hyun provided a staff report and Public Affairs Manager, Sam Pedroza provided additional information. Both were available to answer any questions.

CITY MANAGER REPORTS
City Manager, Josh Nelson, presented a Proclamation to Mat Hudson recognizing May 15-21, 2022, as National Public Works week. Matt is always ready to serve this community.
Another Proclamation was presented to Julie Robles designating the week of May 1-7, 2022, as Professional Municipal Clerks Week.
AB 1234 REPORTS
Mayor Moss said she attended the annual SCAG (Southern California Association of Governments) Convention in Indian Wells last week with a focus this year on zero missions.
CITY COUNCIL COMMUNICATIONS
Council Member Greubel mentioned that the Contract Cities Conference is this week.
Mayor Moss spoke about the excellent event at the YAL Golf Tournament and thanked everyone who helped set it up. The event was a big success.
