Addressing the City Council:
Agenda Items: Members of the public may address the City Council on any matter listed on the Agenda.
In order to conduct a timely meeting, there will be a one-minute time limit per person for any matter listed on the Agenda. Anyone wishing to speak to the City Council is asked to complete a Speaker’s Card which can be found at the back of the room and at the podium. The completed card should be submitted to the City Clerk prior to the Agenda item being called and prior to the individual being heard by the City Council. Public Comments (Non-Agenda Items): Anyone wishing to address the City Council on an item not on the Agenda may do so during the “Public Comments” period. In order to conduct a timely meeting, there will be a one-minute time limit per person for the Public Comments portion of the Agenda. State law prohibits the City Council from taking action on a specific item unless it appears on the posted Agenda.

At the time of publication, no Councilmembers intend to take part in the meeting remotely under the provisions of AB 2449. Should that change between the time of publication and the start of the meeting, a live webcasting of the meeting will be accessible via the link, meeting ID, and meeting passcode listed below. Whenever possible, an announcement will be made at the start of the meeting via the live webcast to confirm whether or not a Councilmember will join remotely. If they will not be joining remotely, then the live webcast will terminate after the announcement.

6.2 Consideration of Resolution No. CC 2024-05 - A RESOLUTION OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF INDUSTRY, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING A DONATION TO EAST SAN GABRIEL VALLEY
COALITION FOR THE HOMELESS, IN THE AMOUNT OF FIVE
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($5,000.00), FOR ITS HOMELESS PROGRAMS RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution No. CC
2024-05.
6.3 Consideration of Resolution No. CC 2024-06 - A RESOLUTION OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF INDUSTRY, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING A DONATION TO LOS ANGELES REGIONAL FOOD
BANK, IN THE AMOUNT OF FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($5,000.00),
FOR CREDIT TOWARDS A FOOD PANTRY IN THE CITY OF EL
MONTE THROUGH MOUNTAIN VIEW SCHOOL DISTRICT
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution No. CC

6.4 Consideration of Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with NCM Engineering Corp, for the design of the widening and safety improvements on Temple Avenue from Valley Boulevard to Perez Place, extending the term through December 31, 2026 RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the Amendment.
6.5 Consideration of rejection of bids for Contract No. CITY-1502, Citywide License Plate Camera Reader Installation project

6.6 Consideration of Amendment No. 8 to the Professional Services Agreement with Stillwater Ecosystem, Watershed & Riverine Sciences, for environmental consulting services at Follows Camp, extending the Term through December 31, 2024, and increasing compensation by $35,000.00 RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the Amendment.
6.7 Consideration of an Amended and Restated Agreement with La Puente Valley County Water District for the Operation and Management of the Industry Public Utilities’ Waterworks System
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the amended
and restated agreement and authorize the City Manager to execute same.
