NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Industry, is hereby called to be held on April 28, 2026, at 8:30 am., in the Council Chambers at 15651 Mayor Dave Way, City of Industry, California 91744, for the purpose of
CONSENT CALENDAR
6.1. Consideration of the Register of Demands for April 23, 2026 RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the Register of Demands
and authorize the appropriate personnel to pay the bills.
6.2. Consideration of a Partnership Agreement between the County of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County Flood Control District, City of Baldwin Park, City of Industry, City of La Puente, and City of West Covina, for the Bassett High School Multi-Benefit Stormwater Capture Project (JN-7446) RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the Agreement.
6.3. Consideration of authorization to advertise for public bids for Contract No. CITY-1545, Homestead Museum Irrigation Retrofit - Phase 2, for an estimated cost of $266,200.00 (MP 03-32 #46)
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the plans and
specifications and authorize the solicitation of public bids.
6.4. Consideration of Award of Contract No. CITY-1527, Temple Avenue Reconstruction from Baldwin Park Boulevard to Railroad Crossing to Sequel Contractors, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $1,279,263.00, and adopt Notice of Exemption regarding same
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Award the contract to Sequel
Contractors, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $1,279,263.00, authorize the City Manager to approve change orders up to 10 percent of the contract amount, and adopt a Notice of Exemption regarding same.
6.5. Consideration of a Reimbursement Agreement with Union Pacific Railroad Company, for preliminary engineering services for the East- West Bike Path on Valley Boulevard project, along the UPRR RAW., in the amount of $25,000.00 (CITY-1537)
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the Agreement.
6.6. Consideration of an Agreement for Replacement of Overhead with Underground Distribution Facilities, with Southern California Edison Company, for Temple Avenue from Railroad Avenue to Perez Place, in the amount of $580,138.33 (MP 09-15)
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the Agreement.
6.7. Consideration of a Joint Defense and Confidentiality Agreement between the City and Marici Project LLC
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the Agreement.
