CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Leano called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.

Presentation of the 2022-24 Proposed City Operating and Capital Improvement Project Budget
City Manager Pirrie provided an overview of the proposed budget and presented the City's budget revenues and expenditures.
Assistant City Manager Jamie Earl presented the budgets for the Administrative Services Department and General Services.
City Manager Pirrie presented the budget for the Financial Services Department.
Community Development Director Johnson presented the budget for the Community Development Department.
Chief Fate presented the budget for the Police Department.
Community Services Director Swan presented the budget for the Community Services Department.
Human Services Director Vollaro presented the budget for the Human Services Department.
Mayor Leano invited public comment.
Jim Belna expressed concern about the City's unpaid CaIPERS pension liability and believes the proposed budget is not balanced at this time due to the City's outstanding debts.
There were no other requests to speak.
City Manager Pirrie responded to a question from the City Council regarding the Police Station becoming uninsurable.

ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Leano adjourned the meeting of the Claremont City Council at 6:41 p.m. The next regular meeting of the Claremont City Council will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 6:30 p.m., in the Claremont Council Chamber.
