JED LEANO ED REECE JENNIFER STARK SAL MEDINA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Claremont, California, as called by the City Council of the City of Claremont, will be held on the 1st day of March 2025, at 9:00 AM at the above location for the purpose of considering the item listed below. The Brown Act provides for an opportunity for members of the public to address the City Council concerning the item described below.
Meetings are open to the public for in -person attendance. The meeting will be live streamed via Zoom, technology permitting. WILDFIRE PREPAREDNESS COMMUNITY WORKSHOP (FUNDING SOURCE: GENERAL FUND)
Recommendation: Staff recommends the City Council:
A. Receive presentations from City staff, LACoFD and local utility representatives regarding wildfire preparedness and prevention; B. Hear public comments and questions;
C. Provide City Council comments and questions;
D. Hold a brief recess;
E. Have staff and outside representatives respond to comments and questions received; and
F. Provide City Council closing comments.
