Cities in California are required by law (AB1234, Chapter 700, Stats. of 2005) to provide ethics training to Council/Commission members who receive compensation, salary, stipend, or reimbursement of expenses. To satisfy this state mandate, Cloverdale's Legal Counsel is providing training to members of the City Council and Planning Commission at the listed date.
This joint training session may consist of a quorum for one or both review authorities; in compliance with the Brown Act, or California's "Open Meetings Law' (Government Code § 54950 et seq. 1.), this Agenda serves as public notification for the training. Public attendance is permitted. The training session will not be recorded and no minutes will be taken as no official actions are being considered.
