As a result of updates to Employee Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) and the retirement of multiple employees, the City has incurred increased expenditures related to employee benefit payouts and recruitment efforts. Additionally, funding requests from local organizations and necessary infrastructure improvements have necessitated adjustments to the Fiscal Year 2024-25 budget.
The proposed amendments include the following:

Due to employee retirements and contractual obligations, additional funds are required to fulfill benefit buyouts. The distribution of costs across various funds is as follows:
• $119,050 - General Fund
• $19,000 - Water Enterprise
• $25,525 - Wastewater Enterprise
• $7,345 - Lighting & Landscape Districts
