6:05 – ITEM 1. APPROVE MINUTES FROM THE MARCH 23, 2022, CITIZENS’ ADVISORY
COMMITTEE MEETING
Motion for approval by Thomas Klose, seconded by LaDonna Snow. Motion carried 17-0-7 with Karen Bak, Karen Chisum, Eulalio Gomez, Kintutu Kilabi, Chris Milton, David Samarco, and Jay Virk absent.

6:06 – ITEM 2. RECEIVE AND FILE – CITIZENS’ ADVISORY CO MMITTEE RESULTS.
PRESENTED BY COMMITT EE CHAIR CHRIS CASAD O AND VICE -CHAIR GREG NEWMAN.
PUBLIC COMMENTS
7:16 – Brian Wilson, resident, commented that there needs to be some kind of tax and suggested an alcohol tax. He would be in support of a sales tax and shared that the City and CAC are not doing enough to promote the idea of a tax. He is suggested that the City Council come up with a plan. He also suggested pursuit of a tax similar to the City of Fresno CAC Measure P initiative that passed.
7:21 – Stephanie Babb, CAC member, asked when the City Council will discuss the findings of the CAC at a Council meeting.

7:22 – Jose Flores, Mayor, commented that an item to discuss the findings of the CAC will be on the agenda for the May 2, 2022, City Council meeting. The Mayor invited all CAC members to attend the meeting.
