Dear John:
I understand that the council is going to have hearings in April or May regarding chickens being allowed in city limits.
Please don’t you remember the chickens ranch at Shepherd Fowler in Clovis the foul smell that permeated the area please don’t let that happen again and vote No to this happening. Please send this message to other council members also.and

Subject: [External] Backyard Chicken Policy
Good morning John
I've heard a petition is being circulated to revisit the current policy and have it reversed by the current council. I wrote to council members last on 7‐7‐20 requesting they vote 'No' and thankfully the ordinance was reversed. A vote 'No' this time around by the current council is my request if this petition is successful.
Chickens are a bad idea for Clovis! They smell, attract flies, create noise pollution and possible viruses because people will not give them the proper antibiotics or care required... The list goes on!
Thank you for your service to our community! Stay safe and healthy.
Regards
Jeff and Kim Lundeen

I live at 477 Laverne Av. Clovis. and I don't want the smell, and the noise of Chickens around me or my neighbors
Besides they draw other critters around them to get their food.
