CALL TO ORDER:
The Regular Meeting of the Parks and Recreation Commission of the City of Coachella was called to order at 4:31 p.m. by Commissioner Ayala.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
Commissioner Ayala led the Pledge of Allegiance.
ROLL CALL:
Present: Alternate Commissioner Javier Figueroa, Commissioner Rosalio Avila, Commissioner J.
Carlos Ayala,
Absent: Commissioner Ezra Cadena, Vice Chair Karina Rodriguez, and Chair Lesly Figueroa.
It was noted that both Vice Chair Rodriguez and Chair Figueroa would be absent.
Pursuant Assembly Bill 361, along with the Governor’s State of Emergency Declaration issued on March 4, 2020, this meeting meeting was conducted both in-person and via teleconference/electronically.

There were no modifications to the agenda.

2. Community Field Use Program Update:
Public Field Use:
Bagdouma Park Public Field 4 (soccer and baseball) set aside on o Fridays all day
o Saturday after 2:00 p.m.
o Sunday after 2:00 p.m.
Rancho Las Flores Public Field 1 set aside on
o Wednesdays all day
o Saturday after 2:00 p.m.
o Sunday after 2:00 p.m.
On the above days of the week, the identified fields would only be rented for individual rentals (not league requested use) and rented for 2 hour increments only. Community Field Use Program would remain as approved.
Community Field Use Days:
Bagdouma Park Community Field Use
o Mondays & Wednesday (except fields 3 and 4)
o Friday & Saturdays all day
Rancho Las Flores Community Field Use
o Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday all fields
