Subject: Water Committee
Good evening council,
My name is Robin Scott and I had planned to apply for the water committee. However, I have been ill and didn't meet the deadline for applications. I communicated my situation and desire to apply to Marissa and she explained that since it would be late, it would be up to council to decide whether or notnto allow it. In my attempt to get the application to you before tonight's meeting, Shannon emailed it to me but the file would not open. Deciding to not give up, l am putting my "qualifications" into this email below.
I feel I'd be a good fit on this committee. I've established a good working rapport with Mayor Pro-tem Ramirez and Councilman Vosburg as well as with Sean Brewer and Larry Miller during the two years I served as City Ambassador. Water is our most important resource. We cant take it's availability for granted. We need to act ASAP in building water containment before the next drought comes around. And it will come around. I have a few ideas.
Thank you for your consideration of my pending application.
Robin Scott
