Subject: City Council meeting 4/20/23
Date: Thursday, April 20, 2023 4:50:34 PM
Good evening council,
It is looking like I won't make the meeting tonight as we've had a sudden death in the family and I need to keep myself available to family right now. Our young, smart, beautiful, healthy and vibrant 22 year old niece, Karlee, suddenly, and without warning, passed away thru the night on 4/18/23. Prayers for her parents and siblings are sincerely appreciated. Thank you Re: water committee:

Councilmen Vosburg and Ramirez,
We need to be PROACTIVE in establishing water storage for Coalinga and it's residents, instead of waiting and being forced to become REACTIVE when the surplus starts to dry up.

And that will happen, eventually. I'd appreciate the opportunity to be on this committee, to work with like-minded water enthusiasts, like yourselves, towards water independence. It could happen. "Necessity is the mother of invention." Thank you. Robin Scott Re: District one council upcoming vacancy:

I truly hope that when considering applicants and/or prior candidates for this chair, that council will also take into consideration the 200+ residents who voted for and supported Councilman Adkisson by appointing someone who won't harbor any personal bias towards his contituents. 200+ of us will never feel comfortable voicing our concerns or sharing ideas with ANY person who degraded us as a group, singled us out negatively or says they have to "rebuke Satan" when coming in contact with or speaking to us, even via social media. I beg of you all to not appoint someone who has the capacity to make another mockery of this council and our great city.

Thank you,
Robin Scott
