Changes to the Agenda: Assistant City Manager Sean Brewer announced the following changes to the Agenda:

Motion by Horn, Second by Schindler to Approve the Agenda for the Special Water and Wastewater Enterprise Workshop of March 20, 2024. Motion Approved by 3/0 Roll-Call Majority Vote. (Ramirez and Hedgecock - Absent)

ORDINANCE PRESENTATION, DISCUSSION AND POTENTIAL ACTION ITEMS
1. 2021 Water Bond Projects Updated
Assistant City Manager Sean Brewer provided a brief overview of the projects from the 2021 Water Bond that have been completed as well as those that will be completed at later date.
2. Water Treatment Plant and Wastewater Treatment Plant Solar Projects Update and Financing Plan Assistant City Manager Sean Brewer provided a brief overview of the proposed solar plant project for the water treatment plant and the wastewater treatment plant.
Brian with Johnson Controls presented details of the project as the contractor.
Dan Bergmann of the of Interstate Gas Services Inc. detailed the cash flow data for the project.
Bud Levine and Rob of Wulff Hansen presented the bond financing details.
Consensus of the Council is for Staff to provide the following information to the Council:
20 Years of Residential Historical Water Use;
20 Years of Water Rates; and
All Data and Spreadsheets Presented during Presentation.
The information shall be reviewed by Council and an Item will be brought back at a future meeting to discuss further when all Councilmembers and the City Manager are present.
