Motion by Schindler, Second by Vosburg to Approve Consent Calendar Item Nos. 5.1 and 5.3 through 5.12.

6. ORDINANCE PRESENTATION, DISCUSSION AND POTENTIAL ACTION ITEMS
1. Discussion, Direction and Potential Action on the League of California Cities 2024 Annual Conference Resolution(s)
Sean Brewer, Interim City Manager
Interim City Manager Sean Brewer provided a brief overview of the item, stating that the Council will typically come to a consensus on how they would like the voting delegate to vote on the Council’s behalf.
Consensus of the Council is for the Voting Delegate to Vote in Favor of the League of California Cities 2024 Annual Conference Resolutions.
7. ANNOUNCEMENTS
City Manager’s Announcements:
Interim City Manager Sean Brewer announced that the City has been awarded a $350,000 tree grant for the inventory and development of a management plan. The grant includes the planting of 20 new trees and funds for community outreach and education.
Mr. Brewer announced that due to the League of California Cities Annual Conference and the upcoming holidays there will be a need to cancel some of the City Council meetings: October 17th, November 21st, December 19th (potentially)
Mr. Brewer requested announced Airport Days: Wings and Wheels event will take place on Sunday, September 29, 2024 from 11am to 6pm out at the City’s municipal airport. The City, along with the Chamber of Commerce, is hosting the event and we anticipate approximately 30 planes, 70 cars, food and non-food vendors. The event is free and we hope to see everyone out there.
