Mayor Gonzalez called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Council Present – Mayor Ken Gonzalez, Vice Mayor Carrie Slaughter and Council Members Helen Fisicaro, Joanne F. del Rosario, and Thomas Walsh
Council Absent – None
Staff Present – City Manager Daniel Barros, City Attorney Christopher Diaz, Chief of Police John Munsey, City Planner Farhad Mortazavi, Administrative Services Director Renee Eshun, Senior Planner Bryan Albini, City Clerk Michelle Estabillo, and Deputy City Clerk Abigail Dometita

NEW BUSINESS
5. ADDING MEXICAN FLAG TO THE TOWN’S COMMEMORATIVE FLAG SCHEDULE City Manager Barros presented the staff report.
Resident John Goodwin made a public comment.

City Manager Barros, City Attorney Diaz and City Clerk Estabillo responded to Council questions.
Action: A motion was made by Vice Mayor Slaughter, seconded by Council Member Fisicaro, to Adopt Resolution 2025-09 Adding the Mexican Flag to the Town’s Commemorative Flag Schedule and Direct Town Staff to Fly the Mexican Flag in Lieu of the Town of Colma Flag at the Colma Community Center on May 5, 2025 to May 12, 2025 Pursuant to CEQA Guidelines 15301 and 15378.

6. 2023-2025 STRATEGIC PLAN UPDATE
City Manager Barros presented the staff report.
There was no public comment.

City Manager Barros, City Attorney Diaz, City Clerk Estabillo and Deputy City Clerk Dometita responded to Council questions.
Action: A motion was made by Council Member Fisicaro, seconded by Council Member Walsh, to Accept the Update and Close Out the 2023-25 Town of Colma Strategic Plan.

COUNCIL CALENDARING
Mayor Gonzalez announced the following meetings:
• Special Council meeting scheduled for March 5, 2025 for a Team Building/Strategic Plan Workshop at Town Hall from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.
• Irish Flag Raising in honor of Irish American Heritage and Culture Month will be held on March 12 at 10:00 am at the Colma Community Center.

City Manager Barros invited everyone to register early for Family Bingo Night scheduled for Friday, March 14 at the Colma Community Center.

Mayor Gonzalez adjourned the meeting at 7:47 p.m. in memory of Silvia Nelson, Doris Morse and Porky Crowe.
