COMMUNITY NOTICE
California’s new Daylighting Law now requires that no park zones be established at marked or unmarked street crossings. The new law can be viewed at https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billNavClient.xhtml?bill_id=202320240AB413 .The purpose of the Daylighting law is to allow pedestrians crossing the street a clear line of sight to oncoming traffic. Daylighting also allows drivers of vehicles to view pedestrians entering crosswalks so they can yield to the individuals wanting to cross the street.
