IN THE AMOUNT OF $176,017.20; APPROVING A CONSTRUCTION CONTINGENCY AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT FEE IN THE AMOUNT OF $26,403.00 FOR A TOTAL PROJECT COST OF $ 202,420.20 FOR THE 2025-26 STREET PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE PROJECT, PURSUANT TO CEQA GUIDELINE 15301.

COUNCIL ADOPTED VALUES
Adoption of the resolution is consistent with the City Council’s value of being responsible , staying committed to the Town’s strategic plan and goals, ultimately providing safe and high- quality roadways for residents and the public.

BACKGROUND
The Public Works Department undertakes preventive maintenance of the roadway system through street pavement rehabilitation programs. These programs are designed to address minor pavement deterioration, retard progressive failures, and improve the functional condition of the system by providing a more uniform pavement surface. These programs will lower the long-term maintenance costs by extending the pavement’s service life and minimizing the necessity for expensive reconstruction.

Staff prepared project plans and bid specifications (“Bid Package”) for the 2025-26 Street Pavement Maintenance Project (“Project”), and on December 10, 2025, the City Council by motion, approved the Bid Package and authorized staff to solicit informal bids for the Project.
