Councilmembers present were CM Chastain, CM González, CM Echevarria and Mayor Navarro; MPT Toro was absent at the time of Roll Call, but arrived at 5:31pm.
The City Treasure, Henry M. Razo, and the City Clerk, Isaac T. Suchil, were also present.
STAFF PRESENT

1. Fiscal Year 2025-26 Budget Workshop #1 - Stacey Dabbs presented a PowerPoint to the Mayor and City Council for review and discussion.
PUBLIC COMMENT - None
COUNCIL DISCUSSION AND QUESTIONS
All members of the City Council along with Mayor Navarro had questions about the budget presentation study, and staff responded to all questions and addressed any Mayor Navarro made the following recommendations:
• Look into funding a full-time deputy city clerk as requested by the City Clerk's Office.
• Look into funding (3) full-time firefighter/EMTs as requested by Colton Fire Department.
CM Chastain requested that staff look into funding (1) part-time Community Service Officer.
All recommendations were directed to the City Manager without further discussion or objections from the City Council.
