FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT FOR CITY ATTORNEY SERVICES
WITH AVAREZ-GLASMAN & COLVIN
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR CITY ATTORNEY SERVICES WITH ALVAREZ-GLASMAN & COLVIN (“FIRST AMENDMENT”) effective as of February 22, 2022, is made and entered into by and between the CITY OF COMMERCE (“CITY”) and ALVAREZ-GLASMAN & COLVIN (“FIRM”).
RECITALS
WHEREAS, CITY and FIRM (collectively referred to as the “PARTIES”) have previously executed certain Agreement for City Attorney Services (“Agreement”) related to legal services for the City of Commerce.
WHEREAS, the PARTIES wish to amend the Agreement to modify the compensation to be paid by the CITY to FIRM and have agreed to enter into this FIRST AMENDMENT to effectuate the intent of the PARTIES.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PARTIES AGREE TO AMEND THE AGREEMENT AS FOLLOWS:
1. MODIFICATION TO HOURLY RATE SCHEDULE
The compensation to be paid by CITY to FIRM, as set forth in Exhibit A of the Agreement shall be modified as follows:
General City Attorney Legal Services $215.00 per hour Special Legal Services $265.00 per hour
2. EFFECT OF AMENDMENT.
Except as modified herein, the all other terms and provisions of the Agreement between the CITY and FIRM shall remain in full force and effect.
3. EFFECTIVE DATE.
Unless otherwise specified herein, this FIRST AMENDMENT shall become effective as of the date set forth above.
