The City Council consider adopting a Resolution approving a Professional Services Agreement with VanLen Consultants for Surveying Services and authorizing Transtech to manage the project pursuant to Transtech’s On-Call Professional Services Contract.
BACKGROUND/ANALYSIS
The City is embarking on major developments along Telegraph Rd. As a result, the City intends to complete a Circulation Analysis and subsequent preliminary engineering assessment of the roadways and their alignments.
The goal of the project is to assess the current circulation patterns and recommend improvements that enhance the circulation in and around the Telegraph Rd. between Washington Blvd. and west of Travers Ave including Tubeway.
Staff recently requested and received a proposal from VanLen Consultants for surveying services. The proposal was reviewed and approved for tasks 1 and 2 (see attached) administratively for $20,720 on April 27, 2022.
