RESOLUTION NO. 22-__
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COMMERCE, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND ESTIMATES (PS&E) FOR THE CAMP COMMERCE REPLACEMENT OF DAMAGED RETAINING WALLS PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE STAFF TO ADVERTISE THE NOTICE INVITING BIDS WHEREAS, the project proposes to replace an existing damaged retaining wall at Camp Commerce which poses a safety risk; and WHEREAS, Staff has reviewed the proposed project and has determined that it is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15302 of CEQA Guidelines; and WHEREAS, Staff recommends that the City Council approve the construction project Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) for this Project and authorize staff to advertise the Notice Inviting Bids.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COMMERCE DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE AND DETERMINE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Commerce hereby finds and declares that the foregoing recitals are true and correct, and incorporates them herein as findings and as a substantive part of this Resolution.
Section 2. The Project Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) for the Camp Commerce Replacement of Damaged Retaining Walls Project are hereby approved.
Section 3. Staff is authorized to proceed with advertisement of the Notice Inviting Bids.
Section 4. Authorize the Mayor to execute the Resolution for and on behalf of the City of Commerce.
Section 5. This Resolution shall take full force and effect immediately upon adoption by the City Council.
