RESOLUTION APPROVING A MASTER AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF COMMERCE PUBLIC LIBRARY AND SIRSIDYNIX WHEREAS, The Integrated Library System (ILS) is the core software used by the Library Services to manage its catalog database; and WHEREAS, The library has been using the SirsiDynix platform since 2007 to provide public access to an online catalog, circulation, serials, acquisitions, and public access catalog; and WHEREAS, The multi-year contract provides multiple benefits to the City and the City of Commerce library users; and WHEREAS, The 5-year contract will secure continued discounts on existing products, and NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE AND DETERMINE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Adopt this Resolution approving the Master Agreement between City of Commerce Public Library and SirsiDynix from July 1, 2022- June 30, 2027 Section 2. Authorize the Mayor to execute the Master Agreement for and on behalf of the City in a form approved by the City Attorney.
