City Council for reconsideration and to overturn the Traffic Commission's decision, thereby granting me / us the disabled blue curb parking space for the location above.

_ another reason is that the availability for parking isnt enough due to the church nearby and stevens steak housed the church has Events that are filled with people making parking hard to find that is near our house, Thank you for your.
Time, I forgot to mention this but the drive way towards the back is too small of a Place to ger out or the car making it an inconvenience to Me and my Wife,

RE: Disabled Blue Curb Parking Space Request - DENIED
Dear Resident / Property Owner:
Your application for a disabled blue curb parking space request was reviewed by the Traffic Commission on May 11, 2022 and has been denied due to one or more of the following reasons:
Applicant's driveway has ample length (20 feet or more) or width (14 feet or more) and can be used for access by the physically challenged.
Applicant's driveway can be widened to accommodate access by the physically challenged.
Applicant has a garage of sufficient size to accommodate physically challenged person's vehicle.
Applicant's request for a disabled blue curb parking space is for temporary use and not for long term nature.
- Applicant's request for a disabled blue curb parking space cannot be installed due to space limitations or geometric restrictions in front of or near your property.
Applicant's request for a disabled blue curb parking space is not in close proximity to a curb ramp. (Curb ramps are those ramps located at most street corners).
An existing or more than one existing disabled blue curb parking space is in the vicinity of the applicant's request (within 180-feet of property). Space considerations must be considered and cannot allow for multiple disabled blue curb parking spaces.
Applicant has a past history or record of abusing or misusing disabled blue curb parking privileges.

REQUEST FOR CITY COUNCIL REVIEW:
If you disagree with Traffic Commission's denial of your application for a disabled blue curb parking space, you may request to have your case heard in front of the City of Commerce City Council, which meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.
Per the Policies and Procedures for On-Street Physically Challenged Accessible Parking Spaces, you must fill out and mail the attached appeal letter to the City Clerk's Office, in the address shown below, no later than fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of the Traffic Commission's decision.
Once received, Staff will schedule your case for the next upcoming City Council meeting. You will be invited and notified of the date, time, and location of this meeting.
You MUST respond within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of the Traffic Commission's decision, after the 14 days the decision to deny your blue curb request becomes final.
