RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COMMERCE, CALIFORNIA, AWARDING A SERVICE AGREEMENT FOR ACCOUNTING AND BANK RECONCILIATION SUPPORT SERVICES TO ROBERT HALF INTERNATIONAL INC, AND OTHER MATTERS RELATED THERETO WHEREAS, Due to the ongoing evaluation of the Accounting Division after the resignation of key Accounting and Finance Clerk staff members, the Finance Department is in need of specialized professional accounting and bank reconciliation support services; and WHEREAS, Staff recommends Robert Half International Inc for these needed professional services.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COMMERCE DOES HEREBY RESOLVES AND ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Commerce hereby finds and declares that the foregoing recitals are true and correct, and incorporates them herein as findings and as a substantive part of this Resolution.
Section 2. That the professional services agreement with Robert Half International Inc for City accounting and bank reconciliation support services for an amount not to exceed $210,000.00, is hereby accepted and approved, subject to the City Attorney’s review and approval as to form.
Sections 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the City of Commerce to execute the professional services agreement with Robert Half International Inc.
Section 4. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the Resolution for and on behalf of the City of Commerce.
Section 5. This Resolution shall take full force and effect immediately upon adoption by the City Council.
