SUBJECT: Committee and Commission Appointments
Meeting Date: November 22, 2022
RECOMMENDATION:
Make whatever appointments or re-appointments deemed appropriate by the City Council.
ANALYSIS:
Pursuant to Resolution No. 17-116, each Councilmember makes one appointment to the various Commissions and Committees of the City, serving at the pleasure of, and subject to removal by, the appointing Councilmember, with the terms of office of each appointee being for a period not to exceed two years, expiring at the next General Municipal Election. The term of office shall continue until the appointment and qualification of successor appointees. .
It is recommended that appointments/re-appointments be made to the following:
Youth Advisory Commission – Vice Mayor Hugo Argumedo
Additional Council vacancies are: Senior Citizens Commission, and Youth Advisory Commission.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This activity can be carried out without additional impact on the current operating budget.
