PUBLIC COMMENT
There were no individuals wishing to address the City Council on any items within their jurisdiction.
SCHEDULED MATTERS
1. Resolution Cancelling a Special Election Placing a Ballot Measure on March 7, 2023, for the Submission to Voters of an Ordinance Amending Commerce Municipal Code, Title 5, Chapter 5.48 Regarding Card Clubs City Manager Cisneros provided an overview of the staff report.
Mayor Pro Tem Argumedo moved, seconded by Councilmember Lainez, to adopt a Resolution Cancelling the Special Municipal Election to Be Held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, for the submission to the voters an Ordinance Amending Commerce Municipal Code, Title 5 "Business Regulations", Chapter 5.48 "Card Clubs". The motion carried by the following vote:
Ayes: 4 - Mayor Rebollo, Mayor Pro Tem Argumedo, Councilmember Garcia, and Councilmember Lainez
Absent: 1 - Councilmember Altamirano
