SUBJECT: County Meeting Schedule – Rescheduling February 14, 2023 City Council Meeting to February 16, 2023 Meeting Date: January 24, 2023
RECOMMENDATION:
Council to consider rescheduling the regular City Council meeting originally scheduled for February 14, 2023, to February 16, 2023.
BACKGROUND/ANALYSIS:
The regularly scheduled meeting of the City Council falls on February 14, 2023, which is recognized by some as a holiday that some employees and Councilmembers prefer to spend with their families. Given such it has been difficult to obtain a quorum on this date or be fully staffed. Staff recommends instead that a City Council meeting be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023; or if the City Council is committed to this date, we can keep as scheduled; alternatively, the City Council may choose another date that it deems appropriate.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This activity can be carried out without an additional impact on the current operating budget.
