Thank you for allowing us the time for our AltaMed Art Curator team to develop an alternate solution to the previously proposed As previously mentioned, the cost to construct and structural support the metal art panels on the exterior of the structure cost has increased in the past years’ to over $2 million. Please see attached proposed concept description from artist Sonia Romero would like to create a large-scale garden fence intertwined with plants that symbolize LA culture, native flora, food, and medicinal plants.
