I have read and understand Chapter 5.16 and 5.18 of the Commerce Municipal Code.
Sidewalk Vending is prohibited unless a valid Sidewalk Vendor permit and valid business license has been issued by the City of Commerce.
Sidewalk Vending prohibited in or upon grounds of police station, fire station, library or other public facility owned or operated by the City of Commerce.
Sidewalk Vending prohibited in the following designated high traffic intersections listed below:
Washington Boulevard and Atlantic Boulevard
Washington Boulevard and Eastern Avenue

Stationary Sidewalk Vending is prohibited from vending in a Public Park that is subject to a concessions agreement that exclusively permits the sale of food or merchandise in that Public Park.
Stationary Sidewalk Vending is prohibited in any location zoned residential.
Sidewalk vending is prohibited within the immediate vicinity of a permitted certified farmers’ market or permitted swap meet during the hours of that certified farmers’ market or swap meet.
Sidewalk vending is prohibited within the immediate vicinity of any area designated for a temporary special permit for the duration of the temporary special permit.
Sidewalk Vendors shall maintain sanitary conditions when vending and contain all refuse until properly disposed of by the Sidewalk Vendor.
Sidewalk Vendors shall comply with the federal American with Disabilities Act of 1999 and other disability access Standards leaving access for pedestrian to safely travel on any sidewalk.
The business shall also be in conformity with all other city, state, and federal laws.
No vending shall take place in or from a parked vehicle or to any individuals traveling in a motor vehicle along a public roadway and on private and public parking lots.
Notwithstanding any specific prohibition in this ordinance, a sidewalk vendor shall not vend in any location or area where the operation of sidewalk vending activities violates the law or creates a reasonably foreseeable danger to the safety of persons or property.
Vending that substantially and adversely affects the health, safety, or welfare of any individual is prohibited.
Vending that endangers the safety of a person or property or causing a public or private nuisance is prohibited.
I read, understood, and agree with all terms and section found in Chapter 5.18 of the Commerce Municipal Code concerning mobile food vending and agree to abide by such laws.
