SUBJECT: Council meeting schedule – rescheduling January 9, 2024, to January 16, 2024, due to holiday closure of City hall Meeting Date: December 12, 2023
RECOMMENDATION:
Council to consider rescheduling the regular meeting of January 9, 2024, to January 16, 2024, due to City Hall Holiday Closure.
BACKGROUND/ANALYSIS:
The Commerce City Employees Association was consulted and City Council approved a City Hall Closure from December 24, 2023, to January 7, 2024. The first regular City Council meeting of the year was originally scheduled for January 9, 2024, staff recommends instead holding this meeting on Tuesday, January 16, 2023 to provide more time for the preparation and/or finalization of agenda reports and presentations.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This activity can be carried out without an additional impact on the current operating budget.
