Bandini Roof Project’s Scope of Work
Flat roof area per the contract
Pitched copper roof inspected by roof contractor prior to releasing a bid packet and was deemed in good condition, not needing replacement Water test completed on new flat roof – no leaks
Rain Events
Following the completed roof project at Bandini, staff traced a leak to a drainage channel that isn’t draining into the downspouts This is not part of the roof project and is being addressed separately Obtaining quotes to repair a section of the channel that instead of draining into the downspouts is leaking water into the building
Staff Recommendation
Accept the Senior Citizens Center, Bandini Park and Teen Center Reroofing Project as complete Authorize staff to file the notice of completion with the County recorder’s office, and Authorize release of 5% retention to the contractor per contract provisions
