RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COMMERCE AUTHORIZING STAFF TO ENTER INTO A PROFFESIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH ALL CITY MANAGEMENT FOR CROSSING GUARD SERVICES WHEREAS, in order to effectuate best practices, the City should periodically entertain and encourage Requests for Proposals (“RFP”) to allow interested companies to participate and be considered to provide services to the City; and WHEREAS, staff released a Request for Proposals for Crossing Guard Services for the City in July 2024; and WHEREAS, staff released the RFP for the subject services and received a total of five proposals from the following companies; Values Security, Alltech Industries, Inc., All City Management Services (ACMS), Meta Protocol Technologies, and Nuway Express inc,; and WHEREAS, it is the recommendation to procure crossing guard services from All City Management Services, 10440 Pioneer Blvd., Suite 5, Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670, as the most responsive bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COMMERCE DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE AND DETERMINE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Commerce hereby finds and declares that the foregoing recitals are true and correct, and incorporates them herein as findings and as a substantive part of this Resolution.
Section 2. Authorize staff to procure crossing guard services from All City Management Services and authorize the Mayor to execute the agreement on behalf of the City in a form approved by the City Attorney for an amount not to exceed $196,128.
Section 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute this Resolution for and on behalf of the City of Commerce.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take full force and effect immediately upon adoption by the City Council.
