RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COMMERCE, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT TO OBTAIN PROFESSIONAL EXECUTIVE SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY OF COMMERCE AND TRIPEPI SMITH TALENT SOLUTIONS AND KOFF & ASSOCIATES
WHEREAS, the City of Commerce recognizes the necessity to fill the vacant Director of Finance & City Treasurer and Director of Public Works to ensure efficient and effective management of its financial and public works operations;
WHEREAS, the City of Commerce requires the expertise of a professional executive services firm to conduct a comprehensive search and recruitment process to identify and hire qualified candidates for these critical roles;
WHEREAS, at this time the City of Commerce finds it in its best interest to enter into an agreement with the Tripepi SmithTalent Solutions and Koff & Associates for professional executive services to hire a Director of Finance & City Treasurer and a Director of Public Works;
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COMMERCE HEREBY RESOLVES, DECLARES, AND DETERMINES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Commerce hereby finds and declares that the foregoing recitals are true and correct and incorporates them herein as findings and as a substantive part of this Resolution.
SECTION 2. The City of Commerce herby approves professional service agreements for both Tripepi Smith Talent Solutions and Bob Murray & Associates in forms approved by the City Attorney. The Mayor is authorized to execute the agreements for and on behalf of the City of Commerce.
SECTION 3. Authorize the Mayor to execute the Resolution for and on behalf of the City of Commerce.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall take full force and effect immediately upon adoption by the City Council.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COMMERCE, CALIFORNIA, this 13th day of August, 2024.
