RECESS TO CLOSED SESSION
City Council/Successor Agency recessed to Closed Session at 5:05 p.m.
1. Pursuant to Government Code §54956.8, the City Council will confer with its real property negotiator, Ernie Hernandez, with respect to real estate negotiations with:
A. 7025 Slauson Ave., Commerce, CA (APN: 6356-004-025)
B. 6364 Zindell Street, Commerce, CA (APN: 6357-015-900 and 6357-019-304) and 7316 E. Gage Ave. (APN: 6357-018-005)
RECONVENE TO OPEN SESSION
City Council/Successor Agency reconvened to Open Session at 6:10 p.m.
ORAL CLOSED SESSION ANNOUNCEMENT
City Attorney Tapia reported on item #1 and stated that staff made a presentation, the City Council provided direction and no reportable action was taken on this item.

SCHEDULED MATTERS
2. Award of Environmental Contract to Ramboll American Engineering Solutions, Inc. and Remediation Contract to B & D Construction Co., Inc. for the implementation of the $7 Million DTSC-ECRG Grant Awarded for Veterans Park Remediation
Mayor Argumedo open public comment on this item. There were no individuals wishing to address the City Council on this item. Mayor Argumedo closed public comment.
Assistant City Manager Domic provided an overview of the staff report.
Councilmember Lainez moved, seconded by Vice Mayor Altamirano, to adopt an Emergency Resolution to implement the DTSC-ECRG grant of $7 million prior to expiration of the Grant; approving a standard form of contract for environmental services/oversight with Ramboll American Engineering Solutions, Inc., and approving a standard form of contract for environmental remediation with B & D Construction Co., Inc.The motion was carried by the following vote:
Ayes: 4 - Mayor Argumedo, Mayor Pro Tem Altamirano, Councilmember Garcia, and Councilmember Lainez
Absent: 1 - Councilmember Rebollo
