RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COMMERCE, CALIFORNIA APPROVING REVISIONS TO STAFFING ALLOCATED TO THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department periodically reviews staffing allocations to align staffing resources with current operational needs; and WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department recommends the deletion of one (1) part-time Painter from the Public Works Department; and WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department recommends the creation of one (1) full-time Painter position in the Public Works Department to support the Arts in Public Spaces Program.
WHEREAS, the City Manager approves of the recommended revisions to the City’s staffing allocation as stated herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COMMERCE, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Commerce hereby finds and declares that the foregoing recitals are true and correct and incorporates them herein as findings and as a substantive part of this Resolution.
Section 2. The City Council hereby approves the addition of one (1) full-time Painter position.
Section 3. The City Council hereby approves the deletion of one (1) part-time painter position.
Section 4. The City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor to execute the Resolution for and on behalf of the City of Commerce.
Section 5. This Resolution shall take full force and effect immediately upon adoption by the City Council.
