COMMERCE CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION NO. _______
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COMMERCE, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE SALARY SCHEDULE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025-26
WHEREAS, the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) requires that public agencies adopt a publicly available salary schedule in accordance with California Code of Regulations Section 570.5; and
WHEREAS, the salary schedule must be approved by the City Council in a public meeting and include the pay rates for all authorized job classifications; and WHEREAS, the attached salary schedule reflects all current salaries, including Councilapproved and negotiated changes, and is consistent with the City’s budget and labor agreements; and
WHEREAS, adopting this salary schedule ensures compliance with CalPERS and supports transparent compensation practices.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Commerce hereby adopts the Fiscal Year 2025-26 salary schedule, attached hereto as Exhibit "A", “B”, and “C” and incorporated by reference.
