RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council will consider approving the Fourth Amendment to TransTrack Systems, Inc.'s updated maintenance and support Agreement.
BACKGROUND:
On December 6, 2011, City Council approved issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to purchase transit data management software. The software is designed to assist the Transportation Department in submitting operating and financial data to the Department of Transportation’s National Transit Database (NTD) program.
On April 3, 2012, City Council approved purchasing a business intelligence software system from TransTrack Systems, Inc. TransTrack’s transit performance management software is used by many transit agencies to consolidate operating and financial data for NTD purposes. Additionally, it produces reports that allow transit staff to manage the City’s public transportation system more effectively.
On July 6, 2021, City Council approved the updated maintenance, software specifications, and support Agreement with TransTrack Systems, Inc.
The First Amendment was approved on June 28, 2022, and extended the Agreement to June 2023.
The Second Amendment was approved on June 27, 2023, and extended the Agreement to June 2024.
The Third Amendment was approved on August 13, 2024.
