CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Lainez called the Closed Session meeting to order a 5:15 p.m.

There were no individuals wishing to address the City Council on any Closed Session items.
RECESS TO CLOSED SESSION
The members of the City Council and Successor Agency recessed to Closed Session at 5:20 p.m.
1. Pursuant to Government Code §54956.8, the City Council will confer with its real property negotiator, Ernie Hernandez, with respect to real estate negotiations regarding 72805 Parkview Drive, Palm Desert, CA 92260
RECONVENE TO OPEN SESSION
The members of the City Council and Successor Agency reconvened to open session at 6:13 p.m.

2. PROCLAMATION: WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY ON MARCH 21, 2026 Recreation Administrative Coordinator Borunda provided a brief summary of the presentation.
Mayor Lainez thanked the Cisneros family for being ambassadors for down syndrome. He asked City Manager Hernandez to light up city hall in blue and yellow on March 21 for Down Syndrome day. Mayor Lainez read the World Down Syndrome Day Proclamation.
Mayor Lainez along with the Council Members presented the Proclamation to Jose Angel Cisneros "Jags" and his parents.
RECESS TO CLOSED SESSION
The members of the City Council and Successor Agency recessed to Closed Session at 7:57 p.m.
RECONVENE TO OPEN SESSION
The members of the City Council and Successor Agency reconvened to open session at 9:33 p.m.

The members of the City Council and Successor Agency reconvened to open session at 9:33 p.m.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the City Council, Mayor Lainez adjourned the meeting at 9:34 p.m.
