On behalf of ChargePoint, I am writing to formally confirm that Energy Smart Group (ESG) is a certified ChargePoint partner and has been directly introduced by ChargePoint to the City of Commerce as the designated partner for your EV charging infrastructure project.
Energy Smart Group has satisfied ChargePoint's certification, training, and performance requirements, and is authorized to supply, install, commission, and support ChargePoint systems throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. Their experience with local permitting authorities, utilities, and incentive programs positions them to deliver a compliant and efficient deployment for your municipality.
As part of ChargePoint's channel management approach, once a certified partner is formally engaged and introduced to a specific project or site, that partner is established as the primary ChargePoint representative for that location. ChargePoint's standard practice is to avoid assigning or supporting multiple certified partners to compete on the same site, in order to maintain accountability, streamline coordination, and ensure project success. Accordingly, Energy Smart Group is the designated ChargePoint partner for the City of Commerce project.
Additionally, ChargePoint requires that all equipment be installed and commissioned by certified partners in order to maintain eligibility for full warranty coverage, network activation, and ongoing support. Installations performed by non-certified or unauthorized providers may not meet ChargePoint specifications and can result in voided warranty protections, limited service support, and potential activation issues.
Engaging Energy Smart Group ensures that your project will be executed in alignment with ChargePoint standards, with full access to warranty, software, and long-term service support Utilizing an alternative contractor outside of this structure introduces unnecessary risk to both project delivery and lifecycle performance.
We recommend proceeding with Energy Smart Group as the certified and designated ChargePoint partner for this initiative.
