Re: Annual Rate Adjustment Request for July 1, 2026
Dear Mr. Hernandez,
According to the Agreement between the City of Commerce and Arakelian Enterprises, Inc. (Athens), and pursuant to Section 17 of this agreement, please accept this letter and enclosures as Athens’ request to adjust rates effective July 1, 2026.
The enclosures include the rate adjustment calculation and supporting CPI documentation consistent with Section 17 of the agreement. Per the adjustment formula in the Agreement, the total percentage increase to the rates is calculated at 4.73%.
Please handle the administrative processing of this request to make the rates effective July 1, 2026. In addition, upon your review and approval, please send an email or letter by mail indicating your receipt and approval of this rate adjustment request. Upon receipt of your approval, we will update our billing records and billing system to reflect this rate adjustment effective with the July 1, 2026 invoices. Thank you for the opportunity to provide excellent service in the City of Commerce.
