The Concord City Council met in a special meeting in the City Council Conference Room, located at 1950 Parkside Drive, Wing A, Concord, California at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, with Mayor Birsan presiding and all Councilmembers present. Minutes follow in abbreviated form per Resolution 3361 and Council Minutes of September 26, 1966.
Mayor Birsan opened a public comment period, and upon receiving no public comment, closed the public comment period.
The meeting was recessed and immediately reconvened in a closed session on CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL — EXISTING LITIGATION (Paragraph (1) of subdivision (d) of Section 54956.9 of the Government Code) Names of Cases:
Golden State Lumber, Inc. v. Commercial Waterproofing Systems, Inc., et al. (Contra Costa County Superior Court Case No. C24-00187).
Beacon Sales Acquisition, Inc. v. Commercial Waterproofing Systems, Inc. et al. (Contra Costa County Superior Court Case No. C24-00777).
Commercial Waterproofing Systems, Inc. v. City of Concord, et al. (Orange County Superior Court Case No. 30-2024-01399982-CU-BC-CJC).
