The Concord City Council met in a special meeting in the City Council Conference Room, located at 1950 Parkside Drive, Wing A, Concord, California at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, with Mayor Birsan presiding. Minutes follow in abbreviated form per Resolution 3361 and Council Minutes of September 26, 1966.
COUNCILMEMBERS PRESENT: Dominic Aliano, Laura Hoffmeister, Laura Nakamura, Carlyn Obringer, Edi Birsan (Councilmember Aliano
arrived at 5:28 p.m.)
STAFF PRESENT: Susanne Brown, City Attorney; Thomas Capriola, Senior Assistant City Attorney; Rick Jarvis, Special Council, Jarvis Fay; Valerie Barone, City Manager; Justin Ezell, Assistant City Manager
Mayor Birsan opened a public comment period, and upon receiving no public comment, closed the public comment period.
The meeting was recessed and immediately reconvened in a closed session on CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL — ANTICIPATED LITIGATION Significant exposure to litigation pursuant to Government Code section 54956.9(d)(2): One potential case.
