The Concord City Council met in a special meeting at the Hilton Concord, located at 1970 Diamond Blvd., Club Room 1, Concord, California, at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026, with Mayor Nakamura presiding and all Councilmembers present. A closed session was held on PUBLIC EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT Government Code Section 54957 Title: City Manager and CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54957.6 Agency designated representatives: City Council (Dominic Aliano, Pablo Benavente, Laura Hoffmeister, Laura Nakamura, Carlyn Obringer) and unrepresented Employee: City Manager.
