The Concord City Council met in a special meeting in the City Council Conference Room, located at 1950 Parkside Drive, Wing A, Concord, California, at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2026, with Mayor Nakamura presiding (Councilmember Obringer arrived at 8:06 a.m. and Councilmember Hoffmeister signed into the meeting via Zoom at 8:17 a.m. and provided a remote participation statement.) A closed session was held on PUBLIC EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT Government Code Section 54957 Title: City Manager and CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54957.6 Agency designated representatives: City Council (Dominic Aliano, Pablo Benavente, Laura Hoffmeister, Laura Nakamura, Carlyn Obringer) and unrepresented Employee: City Manager.
